About me

Builder mindset, systems bias.

What I care about

I like taking messy ideas and turning them into working systems. A lot of my projects sit at the intersection of application development, database design, and the infrastructure needed to keep things running.

I care a lot about reliability. I like understanding the whole path from product idea to deployment, including the failures in the middle and the documentation needed to make a system repeatable.

Things I play with

Flutter Dart Node.js Express PostgreSQL SQLite Linux Proxmox Docker Compose Cloudflare Tunnel Tailscale Hardware builds

Ask me about databases, self-hosting, or how I structure full-stack projects so they are easier to deploy and debug.

Music

Mostly by ear, always for fun.

How I play

I play violin, guitar, and piano, and I dabble in viola and cello. I mostly play by ear and record songs for fun using a budget setup: AT2020, Audiobox Go, and Reaper.

Piano since I was 3, violin since I was 9, and guitar since college. I am down for almost any genre, from Metallica to Sibelius.
